CHS Teen Work Trip

The 2010 Work Trip for our Senior High Youth Group is sceduled for June.  We will be heading to Rushville, IN to help people in need.  Please contact Youth Minister Rebecca Roberts for details.

Our goal and purpose of both our Youth Group and this Work Trip is to:

 - help young people grow in their faith through service and fellowship
 - to learn to respond to the needs of the church, the community, and the  world
 - to provide meaningful experiences that will help guide them in their future.

Seven years ago, The Church of the Holy Spirit embarked on a program that invites high school youth to travel for a week to do mission work.  This program invites kids to give of their time, their comforts and go out and serve God?s family. 

CHS continues to support this effort. Because:

 - We believe that we are called to serve
 - We believe we can help our high school students identify and develop their
             gifts by focusing on their spiritual, emotional, and social abilities
 - We believe that working as a group teaches responsibility and compassion
 - We believe that participating in these programs can impact they way they act
             now and throughout their life
